DAY 2: Forest Life

Summer learning journey

Hi guys I am back and today from summer learning journey I have a task which is called forest life. So ya I will be doing this task.

On your blog, tell us whether you would like to go and visit Tāne Mahuta one day. Be sure to tell us why you do (or do not) want to visit this endemic tree.

So they asked us questions and said why do you want to go to Tane Mahuta and why don´t you want to go. So first I am going to find out about Tane Mahuta then I will tell you guys some information about and tell you if want to go see him or not.

Tane Mahuta is a giant kauri tree its age is unknown but is estimated. It is the tallest kauri known to stand today. It is named for the Maori god forest and of birds.

So my final answer for if I want to go or not.

So I would want to go and see Tane Mahuta because I want to learn more about it and I

Intermediate

Water pollution!!

Hi guys I am back and today we are trying to finish off our Big question and slides that we made. So our big question is how long will our water last if people keep chucking rubbish on the ground?

So we have found 2 websites and I read my one and added some facts about my website I found and I put them on the slides so I will share the slides with you and you can go through the slides and read the facts and thing on the slides. 

This was really tricky because this took us weeks and days for us to try and finish this.

Looking into the future

Summer learning journey

Hey guys I am back and today you might of have seen when I posted the 2 summer learning journey.

So I will be talking to you about looking into the future.

It may be hard to imagine but one day you will graduate high school and their will be a time where you get to decide what is your next steps.

It is your choice to choose what you want to do your choice not other people you choose.
If you really think you want to go university then go training college you choose none else can choose for you it´s your choice so go into to the world and do what you want in the future but you may be want you want to be. 
I want to be a singer when I grow up but not become famous.

Wow!! Guess what guys! Today we had Megan with us. She came because we are doing summer learning journey and also as you can see my label or my title you can see that it say´s Blade runner 2049 and that it actually a movie.

So I got one question. Do you know what the world will be like if you were like 80 and 90 years from now?

What I think?

I think the world will be like how people want it to be and I think I am going to die by the time I am 80 or 90 but some people will be dead already but some people like stay alive so ya.

Hi guys I am back and today in the morning we met someone special and guess who it was!! it was Ane Tonga we met her this morning and we had fun and she also told me that never be shy to share answers in front of people you haven't met. Hi guys I am back and today we were learning how to make our own news papers and here is mine and I love it but what do you think about it? This is my first time making my own news paper. So ya and my news paper is about athletics because I did not go camp I did athletics for my news paper. My reading focus

Hi guys I am back and today I will be reading a book to you which is called Mighty Mammals of the past. So first I will predict what will happen in the story. So what I think will happen is that their are very strong Mammals from the past and they can kill other animals except for like killing lions and then the animals meet  again with the Mammals are like kind so ya that's what I think what do you think?

Math/Reading!!

Hi guys I am back and today I will be tell you guys what I was doing this morning. So this morning we did a reading test from 9 to 10 then we had a break and then we did a math from 10 something to morning tea. But anyways it was kind of easy and challenging because I kind of don't like reading and math is my favorite subject and we only had 40 minutes to complete the the reading and math test. I am in University

Hi guys I am back and today I will be telling you where I went on Friday. So where I went with my friends which is Sarah,Tufui,Toeumu,Andrea,Luseane we all went to Auckland university and teacher and we went and met up with Lillian and our teacher said  she is from Labour day and then she showed us the Tongan Fale an then we went for morning tea and then we came to school and  ya we had to talk to miss Martin about what she was talking to us about so ya it was really fun and ya thanks for reading bye.

School!!

I guys I am back and today I will talking to you about why school is important so lets get started. So first of all school is important because if you grow up and you work at for an example I say that I work at countdown and I do scanning and a lady buys like 4 packs of pies and 15 boxes of  drinks and then that cost $167 and she pays $199 and she asks for the change and I say I don´t know how much to give you back and then the customer will be like confused and she will think that we are dumb so ya that is why it´s important to go school because that what people will think of you so ya thanks for reading hope you enjoy and ya bye.
